Be Empowered Initiative Foundation a South-Central Los Angeles based 501(c)(3) organization. Be Empowered strives to create an auspicious environment that empowers our community members to rise to their full potential. We established programs to address and provide solutions for the social and economic disparities that exist in
low-income, underserved and under-represented communities today. Our programs consist of Workforce & Economic Development, Business Entrepreneur Development and our Community & Recreational Services.
Our goal is to provide those who reside in poverty-stricken areas and thus lack opportunities, with the resources necessary to thrive. With programs concentrating on Employment Services, Financial Literacy and Entrepreneur Mentorship, our objective is to empower and educate individuals within our Los Angeles County communities to help them achieve financial stability, independence, and success.
Be Empowered Initiative recognizes that for a community to achieve financial prosperity, it is vital that opportunity, resources, dedication, and hard work coexist. We recognize that each member of our community has a unique set of needs and desires, which is why our programs are established with a person-centered approach to ensure the participants receive the proper level of support.
Mission
Our mission is to empower, educate, and advocate for disadvantaged community members by providing them with essential training and resources. Our goal is to revitalize and strengthen the community's social and economic foundation in order to nurture economic success, social advancement, and long-term sustainability.
Vision
Our vision at Be Empowered Initiative Foundation is to create a thriving and equitable community in Los Angeles, where individuals from all backgrounds have access to the necessary resources, opportunities, and mentorship to achieve their full potential. We believe that by addressing the social and economic disparities that exist in disadvantaged communities, we can create a brighter future for all residents in Los Angeles County.
Community Empowerment
Be Empowered Initiative Foundation is committed to our Los Angeles County communities and their future. We live by the motto “Each one, teach one”, and understand how important it is for our community to collectively share information and resources. If we continue to keep our focus on empowering one another, greatness can be achieved. With our annual facilitation of our Community Outreach and Discovery Survey, we hope to continuously deliver our community with new updated empowerment solutions.
